Data deletion

01In short

A business can have its xconversions.ai workspace, and everything in it, deleted. The workspace’s owner emails us; we delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

02How to ask

Email contact@xconversions.com from the email address of the workspace’s owner, with the subject “Delete my workspace” and the workspace’s name. We act only on a request from that address, so that nobody else can have a business’s data deleted.

There is no delete button in the platform yet: deletion is done by our team, on request. Once it is done, nothing can be recovered, so download what you want to keep before you ask: your contacts from the contacts screen, and your catalogue, reports and follow-ups from Settings → Data & privacy.

03What is deleted

• The workspace and its settings
• Contacts, with their tags and fields
• Conversations, and every message in them
• Media sent or received in those conversations
• Message templates, campaigns and workflows
• The catalogue, and everything the agent knows about the business
• The WhatsApp connection, and the access token Meta issued for it
• The team’s access to the workspace

It is a real deletion: the data is removed, not hidden or archived. We keep a record that the deletion happened, by the workspace’s identifier only, with no content and no personal data in it.

04What we keep, and why

• Records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices once we issue them, for as long as the tax law of the country they were issued in requires.
• The record of the deletion: the workspace’s identifier and the date it was deleted, so that we can show it was done.

Nothing else.

05How long it takes

We complete the deletion within 30 days of the request, and email the owner’s address to confirm it is done.

06Data held by Meta

Your WhatsApp Business account, numbers and templates also live in your own Meta account, and messages pass through Meta. Deleting your workspace here does not delete them there: manage them in your own Meta Business account. You can also remove xconversions.ai’s access to your WhatsApp account from your business settings at Meta at any time.

07If you wrote to a business

If you messaged a business that uses xconversions.ai and want your conversation deleted, ask that business: it decides what happens to its customers’ data. If you cannot reach it, write to contact@xconversions.com and we will pass your request on.
